A clean, single-graded 6 mm chip designed for use in bituminous mixtures and surface treatments. Produced to EN 13043, grading 2/6.3 with fines category Gc80/20 (asphalt aggregate specification). Suitable for thin surface course systems, SMA 6, micro-asphalt, patching, and fine wearing courses. Also used for decorative top-dressing and resin-bound systems where a washed, low-dust chip is required (confirm binder supplier requirements).
